We offer a complete rebuild facility at Deadbolt Enterprises.

We can inspect your turbo and assess its condition and perform any rebuild and/or repair work that you may need.

A proper rebuild begins with a teardown of the turbo.  The rebuild focuses on the center section of the turbocharger, and its internal components (bushings, seals, etc.)

We start by disassembling the turbo and thoroughly inspecting the bushings, bushing races, wheels, turbine shaft, oilers, and seal areas.  Provided that everything checks out OK, and that there is no major wear or damage, a basic rebuild can be performed on the turbo.  If we find damage to bearing races, seal areas, wheels, or turbine shaft, more extensive repair, or replacement of components is in order.

We begin the basic rebuild process by thoroughly cleaning the center section to remove rust, oil deposits, and checking for cracks:

We then check the turbine shaft to make sure that not only is it not worn, but also to ensure that it is perfectly straight:

We then use our state-of-the-art Heins TC3 balancer to rebalance the turbine, then the compressor, then assemble the center section and balance the entire unit as an assembly, ensuring the smoothest possible turbocharger:  (We are one of VERY few companies that perform the third stage of balancing)
