Compressor Wheel Upgrades

Adding a larger compressor wheel to your existing turbocharger is a great way to improve power and performance on a limited budget, or to maintain that "stealth" appearance.  We have the knowledge and facilities here to perform almost any upgrade you can imagine!

Most factory turbochargers although designed for enhanced performance, still have quite a bit of room for improvement.  We can install larger, more efficient compressor wheels into your turbocharger.  Our most common upgrade, the IHI VF series Stage 1 compressor wheel upgrade can support as much as 25 additional HP over the standard IHI's compressor wheel, our Stage 2 as much as 30-40 additional HP!

As shown in the picture above, we install a much larger compressor wheel into the VF series.  This wheel is also more efficient due to the use of full size blades mated with smaller splitter blades to move maximum airflow.

One of our most popular upgrades is for the 3000GT/Stealth Twin turbo.  The turbos that are fitted to the car originally are 12A compressor wheels as shown below:

We can modify these turbos with larger compressor wheels and turbine clips (or even replacement larger turbines) to get some serious power! (620-630 HP as a pair!)

This modification was originally begun in an effort to assist with some race teams we support.  Many race series require a "stock appearing" turbo.  With our compressor wheel upgrade service, only you will know the secret!
